Nick was recommended to me after I received a less than impressive service from my previous financial advisor. From our first meeting it was evident to me that Nick understood my requirements in terms of financial planning and security. I had been putting off sorting out my future retirement plans as I had a few different old pensions from previous work places and was dreading the work involved but knew it had to be done so contacted Nick. Nick visited and took all the details he needed and dealt with all the companies to combine my pensions into one pot keeping me informed all the way through the process to provide me with my detailed retirement forecast. It was a pleasure dealing with Nick nothing was too much trouble.
With retirement approaching, my wife and I decided that it would be a good time for a full review of our financial situation to help ensure an enjoyable and worry-free retirement . Nick took the time to really get to know us, and made us think about what we actually wanted our money to do for us. He put together a detailed life plan, as he called it, which demonstrated how our income, savings, investments etc would meet the cost of our desired lifestyle in retirement. Using a cash flow forecasting tool modelled on our income, savings, investments and expenditure he was able to demonstrate different ‘what if’ scenarios to see the effect these would have on our financial position.
It transpired that Nick found that we had an inheritance tax liability and using the ‘what if’ was able to show that we could mitigate this without it impacting our retirement plans. He also noticed that our Wills were linked to some trusts that were set up in 2006 and had become outdated and no longer effective in achieving what they were originally designed for. Thanks to Nick, all of this has now been resolved.
Nick did a thorough job and it was clear from the outset that my wife and I were front and centre at all times and he wasn’t just trying to sell us something. I am confident to recommend Nick for any financial advice and have indeed done so already to a close family member.

Although I had accumulated a large number of pensions pots, Nick was able to find an exceellent solution that promises to meet my requirements. Nick spent a good deal of time getting to understand my needs and clearly explained the various options. He kept in contact regularly (face to face and via phone and WhatsApp.) The fees involved were very reasonable considering the potential reduction in my ongoing income if I had got this wrong.
